UC International First Year Undergraduate Scholarships

Brief description:
The University of Canterbury offers the UC International First Year Scholarship to top-achieving international students commencing an undergraduate degree programme at the University.

Eligibility:
Eligible candidates must be full-fee-paying international students and may not be citizens of New Zealand or Australia, or holders of New Zealand residence class visas. They must be completing, or have completed on or after 1 January of the year before the year of application, a University Entrance-level qualification that permits entry into a University of Canterbury undergraduate degree programme. 
Candidates must have applied for admission to the University by 15 August in the year prior to their intended first year of enrolment at the University.

Monash International Merit Scholarships

Brief description:
Monash University is offering a number of scholarship programs including the Monash University International Merit Scholarships for outstanding international students who wish to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Monash University.

Italian Government Scholarships for Foreign Students - 2017

Brief description:
The Italian Government awards scholarships for studying in Italy both to foreign citizens and Italian citizens resident abroad (IRE) for the Academic Year 2017-2018. The scholarships are offered for the following type of courses:
  • Second-level University courses (five-year degree/Master of Science) (Laurea specialistica/Laurea Magistrale 2° ciclo)
  • Master’s Degree courses (First and Second Level)
  • Ph.D Courses
  • Specialisation Schools
  • Research under academic supervision

Scholarship value/duration:
The scholarship duration can be three, six, or nine months.
Normally, the scholarship holders are exempt from the payment of the university tuition fees, in accordance with existing regulations. However the Universities, as part of their autonomy, may not allow such exemption. Candidates are therefore recommended to contact the chosen Institution in order to be informed on eventual taxes or tuition fees.
For the sole period of the scholarships granted by the Italian Government, the scholarship-holders are covered by an insurance policy against illness and/or accident. Air tickets are not granted, except for Chilean citizens.
Detailed information regarding the scholarship offer, can be requested to the Italian Embassy or Italian Cultural Institute in the applicant’s country of citizenship.

Foreign students or IREs may apply if they have the academic qualifications required for enrolling in the institution chosen.
Age limits 
Candidates may apply if aged between 18 and 36 years on the expiry date of this call for applications. For those who apply for the first year of a PhD program the maximum age limit is 33 years on the expiry date of this call for applications. Candidates may apply for training/refresher courses for Italian language teachers if aged between 18 and 45 years on the expiry date of this call for proposals.
Language skills and proficiency 
Candidates shall submit a certificate showing their knowledge and proficiency in the Italian language, starting from the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The knowledge of the Italian language is not required for enrolling in the university courses fully provided in English.

IWC Masters Scholarships for International Students - 2017

Brief Description:
The IWC Masters Scholarships are prestigious scholarships awarded annually to high calibre candidates who clearly demonstrate potential to become future water leaders to study the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) at The University of Queensland in Australia.

• A completed undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally-recognised institution;
• At least two years of professional experience (paid work or volunteering experience) relevant to the program.

IO-MBA Program Scholarships at University of Geneva

Brief description:
The IO-MBA program and the University of Geneva have introduced a new scholarship program in September 2016 entering into force from the 2017-2018 intake. This scholarship program has the objective to encourage and facilitate the participation of candidates coming from abroad to Geneva, candidates coming from low and middle income countries as well as candidates working in a Nonprofit Organization.

Each type of scholarship is available on a limited number and candidates who are willing to apply for it are encouraged to submit their application by 15 November (Round 1). Humber International Entrance Scholarships

Brief description:
Humber offers full and partial renewable tuition scholarships for NEW international undergraduate students beginning classes in January and September 2017.

TU Delft Excellence Scholarships for International Students

Brief description:
The Delft University of Technology offers a number of excellence scholarship programs for international students. The Justus & Louise van Effen Scholarship is one of those programs and it aims to financially supporting excellent international MSc students wishing to study at TU Delft.
